The third dimension has come for your flat little world.

Six players in a round of Solid Siege

Solid Siege is a shared-couch twin-stick shooter for up to twelve players, and everyone can play using whatever they have in their hands: an iPhone, an iPad, an Android phone, a game controller, a keyboard. Scan the code on the big screen and you're in.

Ships circling as solids close in
A swarm of ships and the solids crossing the board
Cross-sections of solids hatched across the board

Your ships live on a flat playfield. Everything attacking them is solid: 3D shapes drifting in from beyond the screen, grey and far away until they come close enough to take on colour. Where a solid cuts through your world it leaves its cross-section behind, and that slice is what you have to fight, or fly around.

It starts with a film

A flat world seen edge-on, as bands of colour
The flat world as a thin line, surrounded by solids
A cube crossing the playfield, its cut hatched

A flat world, seen from inside itself, is nothing but a line. Solid Siege opens on that line, and on the solids that were always there around it, not paying it any attention. Until one of them does.

Everyone can join

The Solid Siege lobby: a QR code and twelve player colours

Host a game on an Apple TV, a Mac, an iPhone or an iPad. Everybody else scans the QR code on the host's screen with their phone and plays from the web browser, with nothing to install, or picks up a game controller. Twelve colours, twelve seats.

Solid Siege is still in development. News will be posted here as it gets closer.
